Originally hailing from a small village in Punjab, India, Tejinder immigrated
to the United States in 1994 and eventually settled in Weirton, WV. Tejinder
attended West Virginia University, graduating in 2015 with a degree in
Political Science. He knew from an early age that he wished to pursue
a career which would allow him to make a positive change in the lives
of others. As a result, the decision to attend the WVU College of Law
was a foregone conclusion.
During his time in law school, Tejinder gained an affinity for labor and
employment related issues as well as public service. He was a member of
WVU’s Labor Law Society as well as a founding member of the College
of Law’s chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Law Student
Cognizant of his own fortunes as an immigrant, Tejinder joined the College
of Law’s Immigration Clinic to aid others in finding similar success.
There he worked extensively to aid clients in matters ranging from work
visas to asylum. Tejinder’s work with the Immigration Clinic has
given him an acute awareness of the vulnerabilities his clients may face
as they traverse the legal process. Tejinder graduated in 2018 from the
WVU College of Law with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law.
Since joining the firm in 2018, Tejinder relishes the opportunity to help
his clients navigate the complexities of the law. Tejinder continues to
advocate for his clients with all the zeal and compassion necessary to
achieve their desired outcomes.
