Attorney David B. Lunsford
West Virginia Personal Injury Attorney

After growing up in Huntington, West Virginia, Dave attended West Virginia
University, graduating
magna cum laude in 2011 with a degree in Psychology. During his early years at WVU, he
knew that he wanted to find a career that allowed him to help others,
particularly those who find themselves in difficult situations. After
discovering that the law would help him achieve that goal, Dave decided
to attend the WVU College of Law with the desire to stay in his home state
in order to help his fellow West Virginians.
During his time in law school, Dave thrived on learning the art of advocacy.
He found that to effectively represent his clients, he must not only understand
his clients but also be open with his audience, whether that be an opposing
lawyer, a judge, or a jury. These qualities helped Dave argue in front
of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia as a Baker Cup Finalist;
compete on the WVU College of Law National Moot Court Competition team
in Richmond, Virginia; and earn the highest grade in his Appellate Advocacy
course. He graduated in 2014 from the WVU College of Law as a member of
the Order of Barristers, a distinction recognizing excellence in oral
advocacy and brief writing skills.
Since joining the firm in August 2014, Dave has found that he truly has
the opportunity to help others who are going through difficult times.
Dave listens to understand what has been done to his clients and their
families and offers advice. Dave works to achieve his clients' desired
outcomes by standing in their shoes and advocating for them.
