Sean graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in
2012 with dual degrees in Biology and French and a minor in Sustainability
Studies. Understanding the importance of assisting others, in 2010, Sean
biked across the country to raise money and awareness for affordable housing
in the United States. After teaching high school mathematics and interning
with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Sean attended the WVU College
of Law to pursue a profession that allows him to put hard-working West
Virginians first.
As a law student, Sean channeled his passion for helping others by assisting
his fellow law students as a grammar and legal citation teaching assistant.
He also worked as a peer writing consultant, mentoring his cohorts one-on-one
in legal writing and advocacy. In law school, Sean competed in the National
Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition, and participated in
the founding of the WVU Law chapter of the National Asian Pacific American
Law Students Association. Sean graduated from the WVU College of Law in 2018.
Sean is trilingual, speaking fluently in Mandarin Chinese and French, and
enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, fishing, and cycling.
An avid college basketball aficionado, Sean cheers for his beloved Tar
Heels and the Mountaineers.
