South Carolina Mechanic Files Lawsuit Resulting from Multiple Myeloma Diagnosis

Hartley Law Group along with The Bailey Law Firm recently filed a civil lawsuit on behalf of an automobile mechanic in Beaufort County, South Carolina Commons Pleas Court against various suppliers, distributors and manufacturers of gasoline and solvent materials. Plaintiff began employment as an automobile mechanic in 1970, and was exposed to benzene-containing gasoline, mixed solvents, aromatic hydrocarbon-containing products as well as chlorinated hydrocarbon-containing products. He contracted multiple myeloma in 2010.

Defendants include: Ford Motor Company, Chevron U.S.A., Inc. as successor to Texaco, Inc., Exxon Mobil Corporation, Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc., Systemone Technologies, Inc., BG Products, Inc. CRC Industries, Inc.,Radiator Specialty Company, 3M Company, Genuine Parts Company, Inc., Auto Parts of Beaufort, Inc., The B’Laster Corporation, and Zep, Inc. Holley, et ux. v. Ford Motor Company, et al., Beaufort County, South Carolina Common Pleas Court C/A No.: 2013-CP-07-1151.
